0207 808 7043. We have noticed a significant increase in the number of clients requesting aupair couples to work together. In many cases they are requested by families who run a small hotel, a bed and breakfast, a public house, a farm, or a particularly large house, and often the girl is required to carry out the usual aupair duties whilst the boy will carry out other light duties such as gardening, light housework and maintenance and assist with the children. Quite often at least one of the couple will have been an aupair previously and so has a good understanding of the requirements, and generally the couple will have been together for some time and so will settle in to the family relatively quickly and without the ‘homesick’ element which can sometimes occur. As with all aupairs they require a private room, live as a part of the family, and receive weekly pocket money in return for the duties described above.
